Mattey’s Mutts Outerwear for Winter Weather

Share post:

Oh Baby, it’s cold outside! Even in SoCal the temp drops and your fur babies need outerwear just like we do! Very young/old dogs, small dogs and short-hair dogs are the most susceptible to hypothermia.

The signs of hypothermia in a dog can include strong shivering and trembling, followed by no shivering, acting sleepy//lethargic and weak, lowered body temperature and heart rate, dilated pupils, pale or blue gums/inner eyelids, trouble walking and/or breathing, and finally, stupor, unconciousness,  or coma.

Clothing your dog with a fleece vest is one way to protect your kindred spirit from getting cold. Mattey’s Mutts of Palm Springs has a wide selection of cozy, premium fleece vests – holiday patterns too! – for small breed dogs, featuring an easy-lift, reflective handle and easy on/off design, so it’s a snap to lift and carry your furry friend.  And for warmer weather, see our lightweight fabric line! Www.matteysmutts.com
