| GreaterGood.org, a national nonprofit protecting people, pets and the planet, in partnership withIheartDogs.com, a site that supports shelter dogs, delivered a much needed holiday donation of 10,000 pounds of dog food, toys and supplies to shelters and rescue groups helping tens of thousands of homeless dogs throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas that are spending their holiday season in animal shelters. Zesty Paws provided a special donation of supplements to help the shelter dogs stay calm in the often-stressful shelter environment. |
Local animal welfare organizations benefiting from the holiday donation included: Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue, Whiskers & Tails Foundation, Halfway to Home Inc, Brittany Foundation, Doggy Smiles Rescue, German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County, Southern California Bulldog Rescue, and Deaf Dog Rescue of America.
