Animal Samaritans has been invited to Sunnylands Center & Gardens annual DĂa de los Muertos event to setup a pet altar to remember those who loved us unconditionally.  This is the only animal related pet ofrenda (altar) in the Valley.

Organizer Diana Martinez says, “This is a very special event, people have stopped by and cried, me included.  This year I had to put my 13yr old chihuahua to sleep. We invite anyone who has mourned a beloved pet to participate and send us your photos so that they may be included in the ofrenda.”

The public is invited to submit their pet photos by October 24th.
Please submit your picture(s) to dmartinez@animalsamaritans.org by October 24th with the name of your pet(s) and year they passed away.  Anyone who wants to add a short dedication is welcome to do so and Animal Samaritans will add it to the photo. Animal Samaritans will also print, frame, and paint the frames. Please make note: Previously submitted pictures have been saved and will be at our ofrenda.  Please do not resend.
