Canines are hitting the big screen once again, this time giving the audience a special opportunity. Originally a successful children’s book written by D. Goode Morgan, Furry Fortune is being adapted into a movie.
The live action family film will follow two twins after they discover their dog starts to shed money. The inspiration behind the story came from the author’s rescue dog of 16 years, who was known to shed more than the average pup.
Producer and proud dog owner Brad Wilson and his production company will bring the story to life in a unique way. Ignoring traditional Hollywood financing to make the film, they are giving the chance for anyone in the general public to own a portion of the movie and even get their furry friend to make their film debut.
Investments can be as little as $100 and up to $50,000 and are made online giving investors actual ownership in the film as well as perks to participate in the film such having your dog make a cameo or appearing in the credits, to the investor being an extra or receiving tickets to the movie premiere.
