Cats left to entertain themselves all day long may get bored or lonely, which can cause anxiety. Do you know the signs of a bored cat? Signs may include:

• Repetitive behaviors or overgrooming

• Inactivity

• Lack of interest in things

• Aggressive behavior like chasing or fighting other pets

• Excessive vocalizing

• Overeating

• Getting into mischief

The above behaviors may also be symptoms of medical problems. Cats showing changes in behavior should be examined by your veterinarian.
